About Us

The Company is a California Corporation which acts as a real estate brokerage, syndicator, developer and property management company. The Company operates and manages a portfolio of properties, described below, under which Jeff Katofsky has or had an ownership interest and/or management control.

Each property is owned or managed a single asset California Limited Liability Company, operated by the Company. Many of the properties function as limited partnerships under the LLC format, with equity partners. Since its formation, the principal of the Company has been involved in acquisitions and development in various areas of Los Angeles County. In the Los Angeles area, JD Market and its principles have been involved in commercial & residential development in downtown Santa Monica, Burbank, the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena and the states of Colorado, Michigan and Utah. In Santa Monica, JD Market completed over 100,000 square feet of office development. In Burbank, the Company has rehabilitated a 165,000 Costco & surrounding land into a multi building mixed commercial warehouse. JD was involved in the development of over 100 units of residential housing in Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Toluca Lake, North Hollywood, North Hills, and Provo, Utah. The Company rebuilt several hotels in Michigan and is active in building a 120 acre sports facility in Colorado.

Through the resources of itself and its strategic partners, JD Market has direct access to office leasing specialists, market research, financial services, lease review and auditing, in house legal services and property and asset management capabilities.
